Our DBA Tournament
This year’s DBA tournament will use DBA3 and counts towards the Society of Ancients DBA League (but you do not have to be an SOA member or take part in the league to play).

Any army listed in DBA3 is allowed, and armies that were made for DBA2 will also be allowed, even if they do not quite match those listed in DBA3.

The tournament will be managed using the Swiss Chess Tournament system with the first games organised by matching what the referee thinks are the best combination of as close to historical match ups as possible. Scoring will be based on the amount of damage caused in each battle with a bonus for victories.

Terrain will be on fixed boards, dice and measuring sticks will be provided, so all you need to bring is an army, a camp and the desire for some good games.

The main prizes are being sponsored by Pen and Sword Books and there will also be some special prizes for those who manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, are on the wrong end of too many 6-1s, etc.
