Milton Hundred Wargames Club

We think that wargame shows need a healthy mix of tradition and inovation to keep them fresh and alive. Many people asked us about a Bring and Buy at the 2011 event so we knew we needed something for 2012. That said, we didn't have to go down the usual route. Instead we took inspiration from a few other shows around the country who were brave enough to try something different with their Bring and Buys.

Broadside 2012 will have a 'Wargamers Flea Market' style Bring & Buy, set in its own, dedicated hall area. Here you will be able to sell your unwanted items directly to the public, be able to keep an eye on your stuff and strike bargains with potential buyers. This area is only for members of the public selling their second hand items, not for traders! the Bring and Buy hall is situated between the two main halls, meaning all our visitors will have to pass by this hall at least twice! No having to hunt around for it in some confusing labyrinth!

Each stall holder will be allocated one table, for either the morning or the afternoon. There will be an hour break inbetween to allow you all time to set up and clear away without being over-run by enthusiastic buyers before you are ready! Also, rather than charging the usual 10% on all goods sold, we simply sell you the space for a reasonable fixed fee...this fee even includes your entry fee to the show! That way you get to keep a greater percentage of your sales and keep far more controll.
